Too sleepy to think of a weird post title!

Kumo no Graduale chapter 17
DOWNLOAD | BATOTO

I was supposed to release this chapter two days ago but my laptop got in the way. It's probably a good thing since I re-checked the chapter and I fixed a few things which I'd have v2ed the chapter if i did release it 2 days ago. still, not proofread. read at your own risk. Chapter 18 will be ready soon I only need to clean and typeset.

Announcement:
I have some important news regarding Ad Astra. I'm really sad to announce that we're dropping it. BUT... the good side of the news is that another group is going to resume it - and I can't say the group's name now since they haven't announce picking it up yet. I will (and will also state a few details of how and why our dropping it came to be in a future post) after they announce it officially on their website.

ENJOY!

Battle of Trebia

Hannibal Barca
Ad Astra, Chapter 08: Battle of Trebia

As the chapter title indicates, the first major battle starts.
I like the use of spread pages so far. I can feel the grandeur of the battles among other things.

We're always recruiting translators and cleaners.

Next release will be either Tenkuma ch10 or Bible of Black ch01.

ENJOY!

Prelude to Trebia

The first major battle of the Second Punic war is about to start.

Ad Astra, Chapter 07: The Other Consul.
(Mediafire is not working so i used the back up: google drive)
(This is now a V2. it's a minor change - almost invisible - in the first few page. don't worry about it.)

Once again, I need someone to help me with redraws on Ad Astra starting next chapter. I can handle the small ones but there are pages that need an experienced redrawer. If you like the series and want to help, please contact us.

Special thanks to Shoreijuu for helping me by checking a few lines from Japanese.

ENJOY!

Battle of Ticinus [Conclusion]

Here's Chapter 6: Strategy
Publius Cornelius Scipio Africanus

Behold a glimpse of Hannibal's genius. And more of that in vol 2.

Next Ad astra release will be at least one month away from now.

I'll translate the "Character & Postscript" included in first volume when I have time later.

I'm sure you'll ENJOY!

Battle of Ticinus

Hannibal Barca
We're back with an Ad Astra release:
Episode 05: The Encounter.
Episode 05: The Encounter V2
(few minor changes)

Battle of Ticinus starts. (it's more like a skirmish compared to the upcoming battles staring volume 2 which believe me; you'll want to see!)

Historical Notes for chapter 4 are up in series' page for those who're interested. the next HN is shared for 5 and 6.

Next release will be either Ad Astra ch06 or Mokke ch12.

Manga Syndrome's 3rd Anniversary!

We made it to three years of scanlation! There’s so much I want to say about Manga Syndrome and how it started but it’s kinda too personal so I’ll just say that it’s very important for me, Rebel and for Shoreijuu and that’s the reason why it won’t die out any time soon.
We enjoy working together on the unique projects that we love and that’s all that matters. We’re not the best, we may not even be an average scanlator group but we do our best to improve and that shows in the difference between our first releases and the latest ones. We just enjoy what we can do. And I’m grateful for that. Let’s keep it up Shoreijuu-chan! ^_^

and I want to thank all those who helped us up until now. Thank you ^_^

To you, readers, we have 4 chapters:

Our main project, Seiketsu’s back, chapter27: Dissonant.  A certain character is back! Check it out!

Also bringing back Mokke from the on hold status with chapter 11: Kudan no Koto. And initiating “Manga Syndrome’s Mokke Glossary” in which we will gather more info about creatures and spirits mentioned in Mokke chapters. Batch 01: Hakutaku andJinja-hime.
Just a reminder: I decided not to translate the chapters included in the anime. It’s episodic so don’t worry about the time skip, I’ll still follow the volume order.

And we wrapped up the first volume of Tenshi-chan to Akuma-kun with chapter 06: An Overly Troublesome World! This may be our last chapter of this manga unless you’re a cleaner and you wanna help, you’re more than welcome.

The last release is Ad Astra, chapter04: Agitation. Hannibal makes an appearance (through a sort of flashback again but still). There’s no need to make Historical Notes for this chapter. And I already uploaded HN for chapter 3 in the series’ page.

I’m sorry if the chapters are in poor quality. We didn’t have enough free time so we rushed things. All the chapters are not proofread. Shoreijuu did help with Mokke though. :)

As I mentioned in earlier posts, we’re on hold. We worked on these chapters in squeezed time just so we can celebrate our 3rd anniversary. Now we’re seriously entering a long hiatus.

I hope you enjoyed reading our releases as much as we enjoyed working on them over the past 3 years. Thanks for following our projects and… well, keep enjoying!

"aut viam inveniam aut faciam"

"I will either find a way or make one"
Hannibal

I certainly tried to find a way to keep translating this amazing manga but looks like I won't make it so I think this is the last chapter of this series from us. any group that's interested in resuming it they're free to do so.

but still, we have the tendency of picking up dropped series again (we just love our projects <3 ) so I might resume it when I have time, certainly not in the next few months though.

Ad Astra, Chapter 03: The Awakening of the Young Lion

See you after a few months. Everything's in limbo now.

Ad Astra Ch2 VER.2

no big changes here just a fatal mistake! I'm kinda embarrassed. -_-

Publius Cornelius Scipio is the name of both father and son. to make the difference I added Africanus to young Scipio's name. Africanus is an appellation that young Scipio earned AFTER defeating Hannibal and I didn't know that until someone mentioned it in a comment. I'm grateful and I'll be more careful.
Updates:
Ad Astra chapter 3 is almost finished but I'll take more time to re-check everything!
Tenshi chapter 5 was supposed to be released a few days ago but unfortunately we couldn't. hopefully, we will this weekend.

Recruitment:
We need cleaners and translators and most importantly for now, an experienced proofreader to help me with Ad Astra

Para Bellum

Prepare for war!
Finally, Ad Astra chapter 2 is done. I wasn't planning on adding Historical Notes this time but I ended up making them in straight 3 hours yesterday night. Well, most of that time I was reading materials. I hope you enjoy this chapter as much as I did working on it. We’re starting to witness the epicness of Hannibal and Scipio!

Updates:
Next release will be Tenshi-chan, chapter 5. just few more days.

Recruitment:
A translator for Asahinagu and a cleaner for Tenshi-chan
that'd be cool! please apply if you wanna help!

Thus Spoke Rebel:
I started reading otoyomegatari. I didn't have any trouble in my heart labeling it a masterpiece!!

ENJOY!

Per Aspera Ad Astra

Finally, we finished chapter one of Ad Astra. (like Mokke and Graduale, it's also translated from French.)

HAMILCAR BARCA
The making of 'Historical Notes'
I'm very interested in history so I really enjoyed working on this project. I also added a couple of extra pages containing historical notes which I really struggled in the process of making them.
I wanted to include as many details as possible in these pages (that's the point of it after all) but the space wasn't enough for what I had in mind. I could have added more space (more than 2 pages) but I was afraid (and still is) that no one would bother to read that huge amount of text anyway which understandable. You're here for the manga not for a history lesson! >_< Well, I settled for two pages with minimal extra details despite the long text unfortunately, but I really hope these pages make even the tiniest bit of difference.
If I get good feedback for it, I will expand on them and create a separate batch (probably the size of a chapter) for each volume.

I chose to quote historians and not write up a summary of their accounts myself because I'd sound like the manga's narrative (most definitely worse) and that is not the addition I wanted these pages to be. And after i finished making them, I realized that these pages can actually serve as a proof that the manga's really accurate. It wouldn't give the same effect if I wrote everything myself, would it?!

Updates:
Now that I'm done this chapter, I'll focus on cleaning/typesetting Tenshi-chan ch2. Hopefully, it'll be ready for release this weekend.

Shoreijuu will proofread Mokke ch7 soon and then get to translate Seiketsu c26. expect Mokke in few days.

Sorry about the long post. >_<

ENJOY!
